Ca’ Marcello, A Villa and a home

Villa Veneta Ca' Marcello: Palladian style villa

In the countryside between Venice, Padua and Treviso, Ca’ Marcello is one of the most splendid examples of a Palladian style villa, still lived in and maintained by the noble Venetian Marcello family, which built it in the first half of the 1500s.

It was later extended, enhanced, furnished and finely decorated in 1700 with frescoes, stucco work and fine furnishings. Today, it is still encircled by a harmonious historic park of over 9 hectares, with many charming paths among large centuries-old trees, flowers and attractive statues depicting animals and grotesque characters.

It is now used for events, conferences, ceremonies and weddings.
Both the park and the building are open to visitors. For further information, please visit the website www.camarcello.it
